Ionising air nozzles provide a shower of ionised air to remove electrostatic charges and/or clean parts and components. The Valstat IN 10 ionising air nozzle has ionising (ionizing) electrodes positioned in the air flow path, which convertordinary compressed air into an ionised air shower. Positive and negative ions in the shower of air effectively neutralizeelectrostatic charges on the target and the air shower also cleans the target. This is useful in applications where sheets, bottles, containers, components made of plastic or paper are manufactured or processed. The Valstat IN 10 G ionising air gun is also offered by Valence; the IN 10 G is a combination of an air gun and an ionising air nozzle. Electrical input to Valstat ionising nozzle and air guns is from a Valstat PS 70 R power source. Air inlet is to be provided from the shop floor compressed air source
The Valstat ionising air knife neutralises static charges and removes dust as parts proceed into the process area by providing an anti-static blanket of high velocity air. This assures quality and minimises rejection rates. Typical examples include automated paint or process lines.
