Contact SupplierWe have given SAMAR for holes that are accurate, fine finished and without ovality. These tools are serving you for last 3 to 4 decades. Now we have come-up with Spade Drill to replace costly Twist Drills. These, we found, are successful in long and deep drilling upto 20 times its size(i.e. dia.75 – 1250mm deep with thro’ coolant). Recently we have successfully demonstrated Dia. 73 x 1250mm length in BHEL. It was a Skoda horizontal boring machine. RPM 18 and feed 0.5mm.The time saved was more the 1/3 or the earlier tools. We, therefore, want you to know that any problem of deep drilling can be tackle with our Super Spade Drill. | |

 | Instructions For Using Spade – Drills |
 | Generally the speeds used for H.S.S. Spade Drills are in the low to medium ranges. Whenever , the Feed is high, depending upon the hardness of the material , the speed can be varied to avoid vibrations. If the blade experiences burning on periphery, then reduce speed. While using Carbide Spade Drills, it is advisable to predrill the work piece with a dia.10mm twist drill & then to use the Spade Drill. The carbide Spade Drills are to be used with high speeds & low Feeds as given in the Chart. However, if any vibrations are occurring, then the Feed has to be reduce in increments. |
