Established in 1966, over a two generation period or time, Porbandar coal has developed a strong market base of very unique niche value added products- keeping in mind to reduce end user’s fuel cost to substantial level. Porbandar coal is the pioneer in value added products such as ground petcoke- which is used as an alternate to furnace oil; sized steam coal, and met coke briquettes. All these products are almost less than half the price of the fuel the end users consume. By using these alternate fuel the end users reduce their fuel cost by almost 50%. The grinding plant of the company for grinding petroleum coke, and screening plant for segregation of Pet Coke and ThermalCoal into different fineness and size, and making coke breeze briquettes are located at Village Paddhari, Rajkot, village nana dahisara, Morbi and at Porbandar, Gujarat, India.
