Hot forming here will reduce both the springback and required forming forces, and will increase the overall ductility of the material. Titanium Gr 5 Rings in the manufacture of airframe structural components and skin, aircraft hydraulic systems, air engine components, rockets, missiles, and spacecraft, where these properties are invaluable. The strength and hardness of this mill-annealed product may be increased by approximately 20 percent after an aging heat treatment.
