Sterco Butt Welding machines are designed and developed with outstanding dependability, exceptional accuracy for butt joining of wires/rods of mild steel, carbon steel, steel alloy copper, aluminium and brass etc. bringing together under pressure the ends of the parts to be welded and by applying short circuit current to the joints. The jaws of the machines are arranged in such a way so as to make possible the welding of wires over a considerably wide range of diameters of specially shaped cross section. Mechanical timer is provided in which it is automatically tripped, after the job is done. The welded joint can withstand high tensile, and can be drawn upto minimum size.
Transformer
The transformer of the machines is of special type, conforming to international standard specifications primary and secondary are of solid electrolytic copper of ample section, suitable for withstanding continuously temperature of 155°C. This transformer is fitted in a light welded framework.
Regulator
A regulator is provided on the primary side with 8 different stages to control the current according to the requirement.
Annealing
The same Jaws can be used for annealing with extended jaws.
Additional Facilities for annealing can be provided at extra cost.
