Muff Coupling

Muff couplings are long cylindrical coupling bored and keyed to fit over both shafts. These are split axially and clamped over both shafts with recessed bolts. Muff couplings consist of a hollow cylinder whose inner diameter is the same as that of the shaft. These are fitted over the ends of the two shafts by means of a gib-head key.
