OTS-DS series is a digital, motorized oil test set designed with unmatched quality and improved reliability and safety having earth & zero start, safety door interlock ensuring high degree of protection. The OTS-DS can be used for testing of various equipment like Transformers, Bushings, Circuit breakers and Capacitors.

Battery Ground Fault Locator

Floating DC systems are the back bone of any substation.Maloperation of DC system / non-availability of sound DC system can lead to very big catastrophe in the substation. And hence it is a necessity that the floating DC systems in the substation should be free from any faults. The DC Ground Locator MGFL helps substation engineers in locating, tracing, pinpointing DC Ground Faults in any floating DC system up to 300V DC in ONLINE condition. The instrument balance the capacitance of DC system automatically and is fully automatic to detect any faults. The instrument incorporates advanced signal processing to eliminate noise in the DC system and is very sensitive to any ground faults. It also helps in tracking mixing of source in dual battery system.

  • capacity 200VA to 600VA
Secondary injection kit (MOT-SIK) has different models with range of output currents from 25A to 100A. HRC fuse protection is provided for over loads & control circuits. Bright LED indicators are provided for indicating input output status. The SIK comes with adequate air cooling systems. It is having one knob control to select the output current. Separate knob provided for coarse control. The SIK is generally called as Relay test set when used for testing of relays .This can be utilized for current injections during commissioning of protection Relay systems, testing of equipments like Ammeters, voltmeters , transducers, energy meters in power sub stations.25A with 3ph AC output with provision of DC output model is also available.

It is designed with user friendly features to check operations of the component in protection system including CT, CB, current sensor & relays etc. The Motwane PIK with high VA burden makes it possible to deliver required current to high impedance object like CTs. It has optional feature to measure CT ratio & polarity.
