Anode Baskets allow anodes to be placed into the plating bath and act as the supply source for the metallic ions needed for plating. They assist in distributing the current being drawn by the plating bath . They are usually used in electroplating operations. The anode basket may be of non-conductive plastic and also from corrosion resistant conductive metal. They consist of fixing section, resolution secton and the surrounding section.The surrounding section increases the area of the insoluble anode. The increased area acts without quickly increasing the concentration of the electroplating bath. This results in effective resolution of the supply being enhanced and increases production of the electroplating operation.
