Vertical Light Path Profile Projectors essentially have the light travelling vertical (upward or downward) starting from from the source to hit the job on the work-stage and then through the objective too the screen. This is ideal for measuring a wide range of profiles with flat bases directly and further irregular jobs using fixtures.Slant screen projectorsare also available in this design.
A few examples for suitable jobs are bearings, rings, automotive oil seals, gear wheels etc.

Horizontal Light Path Profile Projectors essentially have the light travelling horizontally (Laterally or sideways) starting from from the source to hit the job on the work-stage and then through the objective to the screen. This is ideal for measuring a wide range of cylindrical profiles which are excessive long and further other jobs can be measured using fixtures.
A few examples for suitable jobs are pump shafts, automotive engine shafts, hollow/solid cylindrical bearing shafts etc.
