Ceramic wire guides (Eyelets, snail guides, ring and etc.) are normally used in guiding the wire direction in coil winding machines. Material hardness, smoothness and contact radius are important in order to reduce the friction co-efficiency .
TROPHY's fine ceramic wire guiding products are made of 99% Alumina Al2O3, a material with HRA88 harness and a density of 3.85. Surfaces are polished to ultra-fine finish of Ra0.2.
We can also polish the ceramic guides according to the users requirement, such as a surface finish with semi-polished (Ra 0.8) and fine-polished (Ra 0.4).
We also custom make ceramic wire guide according to the user's specifications and size.
