Ceramic tower packings are made from chemical resistant porcelains most suitable for use in highly corrosive acidic media at elevated temperatures. Most widely used in sulfuric acid plants, fertilizer plants, steel plants and soda ash plants. These are available in glazed and un-glazed finish.
Intalox saddles are third generation random packings. Provide more surface area and higher voidage. Available in metal, plastic and ceramic materials.
