Portable Lighting System

The CALZONI Portable Light System is designed as a lighting system for helipad and Minimum Operating Strips (MOS) airfields. The system is constituted of a transport suitcase that includes a set of light units and other equipments to support the landing. FAA rules are applied. Different configurations of light units are available with aeronautical colours and infrared (IR). Light units fulfil the runway (white), approach (white), threshold (green) and runway end lights (red). The system is modular and can consist of any type of the above lights, in variable quantity, depending on the operative POL Light Unit configuration.

HELIPAD LIGHTING SYSTEM

The semi-permanent Heliport Lighting System has been developed to allow night helicopter operations, limited to Visual Flight Rules (VFR) where a non-permanent lighting system is available to be used as a temporary or permanent lighting system. It is a flexible system that can provide temporary, supplementary, emergency, and full operational airfield flight support capabilities. Additionally, each system and individual light is night vision compatible and can be accessed by portable remote control.
