A food service industry client approached Z&L Machining, Inc. to custom fabricate a stainless steel frame. The customer-supplied print and 2D CAD drawing made clear that the Illinois-based company was in need of an 8 ft L x 2 ft. W x 3 ft. H stainless steel frame. We used state-of-the-art equipment (Kasto Cold Saw, Okuma CNC Mill, Okuma CNC Lathe, Bridgeport Mill, Hardinge Lathe, Miller TIG Welder) to saw cut, laser cut, mill, turn and weld 130 lbs. of 304 stainless steel tubing and bar. A #4 polish was added and the frame was tested and inspected using a number of different and exacting processes (caliper, micrometer, tape and square). To learn more about this stainless steel frame see below for details. If you want more information about our outstanding custom fabrication services please contact Z & L Machining, Inc.
