Stoneware pipes are intended for laying in the sewage line. These pipes are effective against
acids, alkalis and other salts present in the soil. These pipes life span is supposed to be more than
hundred years due to its resistance against acid, alkali and low water absorption. The following
tests have been selected and recommended by bureau of Indian standards to stand the pipe
in all weather and soil conditions as stipulated in Indian standard IS:651 2007 for ISI marked pipes
and are followed by us.
