In 1990, it got converted to a partnership. Midway in 1986, another unit in name of Deepak plastics was started in Rajgurunagar in Maharashtra. Originally V-pla started with the packaging products for the carbide industry. The product range included boxes for carbide tips, tools, and protective covers for carbide drill rods. In early 90s V-pla made a timely foray into packaging products for pharmaceutical industry.
