A work platform is a device used to provide temporary access for people or equipment to inaccessible areas, usually at height. They are generally used for temporary, flexible access purposes such as maintenance and constructino work or by firefighters for emergency access.

ControlLift functions of an work platform are controlled by an operator, who can be situated either on the work platform itself, or at a control panel at the base of the unit.

Features of Work Platform

1. Ladder shall be provided to climb on platform.
2. Platform shall have safety hand railing. Platform top covered with 5/6 mm chequered steel plate.
3. Platform extend on one side (optional upon customer request only).
4. AC/DC power pack shall be provided complete with gear pump, pressure relief valve, filter, air breather, suction strainer, oil level indicator, solenoid operated DC valve etc. Standard power pack is AC only.
5. Hydraulic cylinder single acting - operated by AC/DC power pack, cylinder-honed tube. Piston hard chrome plated.
6. Seals for hydraulic cylinder o-ring and wiper seal shall be provided. Main pistor seal of PU shall be provided.
7. Safety break hose valve shall be provided to prevent platform from coming down suddenly.
8. Dual operation by push button panel fitted on platform and at the base.
9. Wheels - 4 nos. Large wheel shall be provided. Material PU or solid rubber wheel.
10. Limit switch shall be provided to prevent overtravel at the end of maximum height.
11. Manually operated 4 nos. side locks shall be provided for stability while working at height.
12. Also available at extra and upon customer request:Self-Propelled electrically operated with joy stick control for traction.
13. Shipped complete and ready for immediate use.
14. Neat and secure electric cable arrangement ensures safe cable travel during lifting and lowering operation.
15. In case of battery supply-battery is mounted on platform base. Battery shall be in fixed position and is detachable.
