Potassium Feldspar is one of the most abundant and important group of minerals in the earth’s crust. It is a type of Feldspar rich in potassium Oxide (K2O), primarily sourced from potassium rich minerals like orthoclase and microline. This powder is widely used in the ceramics industry, particularly for making glass and porcelain. It helps lower the melting temperature of ceramic materials. Boosts durability, and enhances the quality of the finished products. Additionally, potash feldspar powder is commonly used in the production of glazes, enamels, and other materials that demand high potassium levels.

Sodium Feldspar , also known as soda feldspar or albite, is a member the feldspar mineral group that contains a high percentage of sodium. Sodium feldspar powder is a feldspar product with a high concentration of sodium oxide (Na2O), typically sourced from sodium- rich minerals like albite and oligoclase. This powder is commonly used in the ceramics industry , particularly for  producing Porcelain and sanitary ware. Its aids in reducing the melting point of ceramics material improving their plasticity, and enhancing the quality of glazes. Additionally, soda feldspar powder is also employed in the production of glass, enamel, and other materials that requires a high alkali content. Sodium feldspar is more commonly used in the glass industry, while potassium feldspar is favored in ceramics and glazes due to its higher melting point.

The primary forms in which soda feldspar is supplied include.

Ø  Lumps/ chunks

Ø  Powder

Ø  Granules
