preparation: (1 liter) cook toor dal using pressure cooker. Add salt to taste and rasam powder (2-3 teaspoons), tamarind juice (2-3 teaspoons), jaggery if required, and curry leaves. Again cook for 5 minutes. For garnishing add chopped coriander leaves and coconut paste or dry coconut. If required add chopped onion. Ready to serve for 3-4 persons.
