Challenger tanks are ideally suited for a wide range of applications, including booster systems, thermal expansion,
heating expansion, irrigation systems, and hydraulic hammer arresting.
Patented Controlled Action Diaphragm Water Chamber Design:
E cient and cost e ective, Challenger tanks are designed with a patented controlled action CAD-2 diaphragm
assembly. It features a chlorine resistant 100% butyl diaphragm with a precision molded copolymer polypropylene liner
for superior air and water separation. The CAD-2 diaphragm assembly is clenched together with a positive lock internal
clench ring which contains drawdown water in a pre-charged air atmosphere, thus providing separation between the
diaphragm and tank wall. This air bu er design means few problems with condensation. Constructed with an FDA
compliant high-grade butyl, the diaphragm assembly seals water in a true non-corrosive chamber.
The air chamber is sealed with a fi xed O-ring and closed cell foam and will provide many years of leak free and
service free life. Challenger tanks are quality tested at several stages on the production line to ensure the structural
integrity of every tank. Challenger tanks are the best steel pressure vessels in the market today and represent the best

The pressurised cushion of air in the
gas space is set approximately below
the pumps switch-on pressure. When
pressure falls below the switch-on
pressure, the pump switches on and
pumps water. If consumers remove a
relatively small volume of water, the
difference in the buffer vessel is
stored until the pressurised cushion
of air on the switch-off side has
compressed and the booster system
has switched off. When consumers
take water, the interim water is taken
from the buffer vessel until the pressurised
cushion of air has fallen to
the switch-on pressure and the
booster system switches on again

EDS GLOBAL 750 Ltrs -10 Bar Replaceable Bladder Type Hydropneumatic Pressure Tank
Replaceable Bladder (membrane) Tanks are suitable for Multistoried Residential or Commercial pressure boosting system, Fire Fighting system, Thermal Expansion system & Irrigation sprinker system . It is preferred where big volume tank is required because membrane can be replaced easily in case of failure.
Tanks are of special grade steel material. Water is stored in Bladder of EPDM or Butyl Rubber material.
So water does not come in contact with steel metal. The bottom connection is of GI Flange with connection of Stainless steel. Bladder is manufactured by most reputed Italian manufacturer and is as per DIN 4807, WRAS & BS6920 potable water hygiene standard.
All tanks are post cured before assembly to avoid bad odour from membrane. An additional air tight sealing compound is used to prevent air leakages from air valves.
The exterior is double layer epoxy primed with PU acrylic paint which provides protection against UV rays and salt spray. Replaceable Bladder (membrane) Tanks are suitable for Multistoried Residential or Commercial pressure boosting system, Fire Fighting system, Thermal Expansion system & Irrigation sprinker system .
It is preferred where big volume tank is required because membrane can be replaced easily in case of failure. Replaceable Bladder Tanks: Prototype tank has successfully completed 182000 cycle test. All tanks are hydro-tested at 1.5 times design pressure and undergo 4 days observation for any air leakages
Tanks are available in 10 bar, 16 bar, & 25 bar and range from 8 liters to 10000 liters.
On request 40 bar tanks can be supplied
