Our Compressibility and Recovery Tester of Gasket Material Consist of an Anvil- A hardened and ground surface on which the sample is placed. There are a set of steel cylindrical shape penetrators of specified sizes and shape according to the material test (as per Table-1). There are two dials also mounted on the anvil for the measurement of the thickness of the test specimen at the time of preloading and the total load. There are two digital dials so that by taking the average value you can measure the accurate thickness. There is the software in the load monitor for the application of preload and major load for the specified period after that buzzer give the indication to note the dial gauge reading. Preload – A preload which shall include the weight of the penetrator itself and added weight of the penetrator itself and added weights to give the value specified within ± 1%. Preloads for various types of gasket materials are as shown in Table 1, unless otherwise specified. 

There is a selector switch on the control panel for the setting of load conditions as given below.

• Mode 1= pre-load 22.2 N & total load 1112 N 
• Mode 2= pre-load 4.4 N & total load 222 N
• Mode 3= pre-load 4.4 N & total load 445 N
• Mode 4= pre-load 4.4 N & total load 356 N  

There are two process of movement of the penetrator that is manual and other is auto. For testing purpose as per modes always use auto mode and for the movement of the penetrator always use manual. In manual mode for up and down movement first of all press the rotary switch for the up or down position and than in manual mode. And for AUTO mode switch off the digital monitor then select the mode and change the penetrator as per requirements then switch on the digital monitor. For testing place the test specimen on the anvil and then press the push to test switch.

 

All the parts are either painted/powder coating chrome plating for corrosion resistance long life.

Description :-Transparency Tester is also called Light Transmittance Meter. This is used to check transparency rate in PET PREFORM. This is special designed for PET Preform.

Bursting strength tester of any material such as fabric, leather, paper, paper board & corrugated box etc. Its strength under multi- directional force and is defined, as the hydrostatic pressure required producing rapture of the material when pressure is applied at a controlled increasing rate through a rubber diaphragm.

Bursting Strength Tester is designed to find bursting strength of fabric/leather/ paper/paper board & corrugated box. A test specimen is held between two annular clamps under sufficient pressure to minimize slippage. The clamping is done by hand wheel/screw arrangement or by pneumatic pressure with pressure gauge, solenoid valve and pressure regulator as per model. The upper clamping surface which is in contact with the test specimens has a continuous spiral grooves. A circular diaphragm of pure gum rubber is clamped between the lower clamping plate & pressure cylinder so that before the diaphragm is stretched by pressure underneath it the centre of its upper surface is below the plane of the clamping surface.

The equipment is fitted with a motor driven screw mechanism, which increases fluid displacement on the lower side of the diaphragm at a specified rate. The equipment is fitted with an arrangement, which automatically brings down the pressure and stops the motor on completion of the test cycle. A maximum reading type pressure gauge (or pressure sensor and digital indicator with peak hold and tare facility in digital model) gives the bursting pressure.

APPLICATION

Top Load Tester is used for measuring vertical strength of bottle. Good strength avoids damage of bottles during stacking, Transportation, Storage and packing. Bottle Compression Tester is efficient and easy to use equipment intended for measuring the ability of bottle to resist external compressive forces. This method describes how to determine the resistance of a bottle to compressive forces. This is accomplished by placing the bottle between two flat platens, one of which is mechanically driven to compress the bottle. A recording device is incorporated to indicate the force required to compress the bottle. The method is used to compare the compressive resistance of different lots of similar bottles or to compare bottles of different grades.

 

The instrument is made in two parts, one is for main instrument and the other is the control panel. The ultimate test is to determining overall quality and performance of the bottles and jars. The instrument is bright chrome plating, zinc plating, painted in metallic paints. In Computerized model, we provide the Window based software which gives the different measurement parameter and the graph. The report can be printout by using proper printer. The variable speed model speed is vary by a knob fixed on the panel and the speed also digitally indicated on the control panel of the instrument or by simply types the speed on the monitor of the computer. Different model have speeds suitable for testing different materials. Various built in safety arrangements such as over travel protection, are provided.
