Waidhan Engineering & Industries Pvt. Ltd. is the largest OTR tyre retreading company in india. We are the only company in India which retreads OTR tyres by both mould cure and precure process.
The tyres retreaded by us have set new industry standards providing highest mileage and reliability. Our retreaded OTR tyres look and perform like new tyres resulting in substantial savings in the cost differential between a retread and a new tyre with lower cost per hour. By retreading a tyre, we get 60% to 90% life of a new tyre at about 25%- 40% cost depending upon the old casing and working conditions. The retreaded tyres are the most viable economical alternative to new tyres.

Conveyor belts are subject to longitudinal through cuts due to unwanted foreign material like sharp boulders, steel chute liners, iron objects like tooth points etc. Sometimes, edges of the belt gets damaged due to swaying of conveyor or other reasons. This can cause further damage to the steelcords and can be resolved by repairing the edges.
Types Of Repairs
Conveyor belts are scrapped because of the following reasons-
A total savings to the tune of approx. 60% to 65% can be achieved by using reconditioned / repaired belts instead of new belts on account of lower capital investment, lower inventory costs & lower interest costs.
Bead damages in OTR tyres happens due to improper handling or improper fitment of OTR tyres on the rims. Bead damages can also happen during refitment of tyres on Rims. It has been observed that OTR tyres having bead damages are rendered unfit and scrapped.
Waidhan group is the only company in India which has required expertise and equipments to repair and cure damaged tyre beads. We can repair bead damages upto any extent ifthe bead core isintact.

Waidhan Engineering & Industries Pvt. Ltd. has been offering OTR tyre repair services for over 30 years. The OTR tyre repair sizes range from 25 inch all the way up to 57 inch. We use the best in class repair system in the world which comprises of a combination of air bags and flexible heat pads to provide desired pressure and temperature. This has enabled us to repair tyres which were earlier scrapped because of injuries considered irreparable. To quote an example, we can repair a radial tyre Injury cut upto 1000 mm length and 150 mm width compared to conventional repairs which were limited to repairing upto 300 mm length and 30-40 mm width.

Waidhan group specialises in both hot vulcanisation and cold vulcanisation of conveyor belts. We have highly skilled service teams stationed at various locations around the country. We use our in-house splicing materials and vulcanizing presses. The services includes jointing of fabric as well as steel cord belting.
We are into manufacturing of splicing kit for steel cord belts (upto ST 4000) and following jointing materials:
Fire resistant grade and various other grades are manufactured by us as per customers specific requirements.
Our insulation and cover compounds provide the ultimate protection to the belt carcass so as to realize a lower cost-per-ton conveyed and also reducing overall maintenance cost. Our innovative compounds provide protection and performance even in the toughest applications.
Our manufacturing process is vertically integrated and unique to the conveyor belt industry. Backed by extensive research and testing facilities, we have cover compounds to meet the rigorous requirements. We have our own mixing facilities which provide raw materials used in making cover compounds, giving us more control over the quality of the product at every step.
Waidhan group impact pads are designed for loading points of conveyor belts, where a combination of high energy absorption and low friction is needed. Due to ease of installation, these impact pads replace the conveyor rollers, which eventually break or seize and act like a brake. They provide greater belt support area thereby increasing impact absorption and reducing impact on the belt.
The top cover is made of an UHMWPE (ultra high molecular weight polyethylene), which gives these impact pads a very low friction and high we are resistant top surface. The middle portion is of high-quality rubber having high resilience, which acts as a shock absorber at the loading zones of conveyors. These impact pads are manufactured with an aluminium T-type fixing system for easy installation.
Support Frame :
Support frames are designed to suit a wide range of applications for impact pad. These heavy duty/sturdy pads are fixed over an equally robust heavy duty bolted type adjustable support frame to absorb high impact load.

We manufacture a complete line of skirtboard products. Skirting rubber is a general purpose rubber used mainly in material handling industry and is common to every conveyor application and paramount in the prevention of spillage at material loading points. This product is designed for use as conveyor skirtboard or belt wiper. It is made of black natural rubber & designed to be used as conveyor skirting or similar application. It is available in various thickness and widths depending upon customers requirements.
Waidhan group manufactures a complete line of premium grade rubber blocks/pads for varied applications. These rubber blocks have been providing heavy duty wear protection in the material handling industry for years. They not only protect against wear but also serve as impact-dampers and prevent damage to wagon tipplers. We are manufacturing wagon tippler rubber pads for wagon tipplers installed at coal handling plants in thermal power plants, cement plants, coal mining etc. for automated unloading of railway wagons.
The quality of rubber blocks is excellent and have very good life. These rubber blocks are supplied with or without steel insert plate as per requirement of the customer. It can easily be installed with a wide range of secure and reliable fastening methods.
Our wear bars (also known as lifter bars) are used for grinding mills as stock items. These bars comprise of aluminium T bolt profile and wear resistant rubber. The aluminium profile vulcanized into the bar allows fast and easy installation due to the T-bolt fastening system.
Wear bars are excellent wear lining to; washing drums, rock boxes, feed cone-crushers and other applications subject to wear and noise.
The standard length available is 1520mm, in thicknesses ranging from 75mm to 150mm.
Belt vulcanizing machine supplied by us is an electrothermal vulcanizing device used for on-site jointing of conveyor belts. With the advantages of advanced technology, compact structure and convenient usage, it is used for hot vulcanisation of all types of conveyor belts (fabric & steel cord). The application area of this kind of vulcanizer is very wide, it can be used in mining, power plant, steel plant, cement plants, ports and any other material handling industry.
The machine comes with unique water pressure plate and electric pump and is capable of providing pressure of up to 20kg/sq. cm. The heating plate is also provided with water cooling arrangement for fast cooling.
We manufacture Ladders, catwalks, platforms and handrails in both steel and aluminum, centrifugally casted PB bushes for shovels, draglines and dump trucks. Dump body repairs for HEMM dumpers and buckets, track pads, boom, arm, drive tumbler and idler roller repairs for shovels/ excavators are also carried out at our works in Waidhan. Supply of spares along with rehabilitation and all other major repairs of under carriage of shovels are being done by us.

Impact of rocks and other heavy materials can greatly reduce the lifetime of feed hoppers. Our wear products have been providing heavy duty wear protection in the mining industry since years. Feed hoppers are exposed to heavy stress due to continuous operation of crushing, cutting, abrasion and impact of rocks and other particles. The wear strength and elasticity of rubber generate valuable benefits during the entire working cycle. Industrial activities unavoidably result in wear. Wear costs money, often lots of money. That's why it pays to tackle wear with wear resistant rubber and cut costs in nearly every application from discharge and storage chutes, to hoppers.

Waidhan groups total tyre management program starts with understanding site challenges along with objectives and working with customers to provide customized site specific OTR tyre management solution. This starts from selection of new tyre right upto its disposal. The objective of our OTR tyre management program is to improve the overall availability of the HEMM equipments in a cost effective manner.
We use world class tyre & rim data management software to drive its ELUV decisions regarding tyre maintenance and tyre performance. This enables us in taking decisions for scheduling maintenance works, inventory management and benchmarking.

W101 is a specially formulated rubber-based adhesive used in applications of bonding rubber to: rubber, metal, wood and many other materials. It has been formulated with solvents of low toxicity to produce an improved adhesion with lower health risks. When used in conjunction with Waidhan hardener, it provides excellent results in all rubber bonding applications. It is especially suitable for belt splicing, rubber lining, and pulley lagging. Our Cold Vulcanizing solution is available in 1ltr. and 5 Itr. packing.

OTR tyre wheel chocks are wedges placed closely against HENN wheel to prevent accidental movement. Our OTR tyre wheel chocks come in 5 sizes starting from small tippers upto 240T dump trucks. They are durable, light weight and at the same time sturdy.
OTR tyre inflation cage is manufactured and supplied as per OTR Tyre sizes being handled by the customer at mining site. OTR tyre inflation cage is used for safely inflating the tyres in HENN workshop.
The group has 3 established workshops (Singrauli, Korba and Dhanbad) to retread tipper and light OTR tyres right from 7.00X16 upto 17.50X25 tyres (both radials and bias) by precure process. All the 3 workshops are geared to perform repairs from 16 inch tyres upto 57 inch tyres.
Precure or cold retreading involves vulcanisation without a mould at a temperature of 120 °C. The tyre is put together using a pre-vulcanised tread liner and non vulcanized bonding gum layer. The bond between the carcass, the bonding gum and the precured tread is created in an autoclave.
We manufacture our own retreading materials (precure tread rubber, vulcanising cement and bonding gum).Our precured tread is manufactured by using best raw materials under very high curing pressure resulting into higher mileage with longer tread life. Waidhan group, being the largest OTR tyre retreader in the country uses its own formulated tread compounds which has set new industry bench marks in India in terms of reliability and mileage for retreaded tyres. This has been achieved through unparalled experience of35 years and continuous research and development activities.
The precured tread is tailor made and formulated to suit the application and conditions for which the tyre has to be used. Each and every batch of retreading material which is being manufactured undergoes a strict quality check which ensures consistent quality and standardisation.

HENN mudflaps act as splash guards/ mud guards which prevent mud/dirt coming out from OTR tyres and settling on the HENN components. Mudflaps prevent damage of critical HENN components especially during rainy season or when excessive water sprinkling is performed on haul roads. The mudflaps manufactured by us range from 35NT dump trucks and go upto 240MT dump trucks. We also supply to HENN OEM's in the Indian market.

The group is geared up to execute challenging jobs in the above field to cater to the large capacity electrical equipments of mining & power sector, paper mills, steel & cement industry etc.
Tyre Press is an equipment mainly used for the disassembly and assembly of OTR tyres and rims with ensured production safety and improved efficiency. Tyre dismantling and assembling machine supplied by us is of robust design & construction and is capable of operating for protracted periods on a system of 3 shifts, each of 8 hours duration per day throughout the year.
The dismantling of OTR tyres from rim and assembling of OTR tyres on rim is fully automated i.e. without any need of manual effort/ support, except placing of small jigs & placement of tyre / rim on the platform of machine.

Our hot solution is a liquid vulcanizing agent suitable for rubber bonding purposes. It can be used for belt splicing, pulley lagging, rubber lining and general hot rubber bonding. Special agents are added to enhance bond strength and improve ozone resistance. It is suitable in a press or autoclave bonding application and in general rubber moulding.
