It is a pumpable liquid at 100% solids. Its nonlinear structure adds value to the end user providing weatherable, extremely flexible liquid resins. This diol can be used in the manufacture of polyester resins and polyester polyol intermediates for use in, for example, OEM, refinish, and coil coatings.
Methylpropanediol (MPO) is a clear, colorless liquid which has little or no odor. It is soluble in water at room temperature, has a soft and non-tacky feel and can be added directly in the aqueous phase.
It is a solvent for various Industries and has many uses such as Anti-freezer, Monomer for the preparation of Copolymer, Agricultural chemicals, Coating, Binder, Cleaner solvent.
