The lift capacity typically ranges from 500 kg to 5000 kg, with lifting heights from 3 meters up to 12 meters or more. The lift travels at an approximate speed of 4 to 6 meters per minute. It includes manual or automatic control systems, such as push-button stations or PLC-based panels, and comes with limit switches, emergency stop, and door interlocks for enhanced safety. The platform is usually enclosed with mesh or sheet metal gates, and options for collapsible or swing doors are available. The system is operated via a single-phase or three-phase electric motor, depending on capacity and usage. The structure can be wall-mounted or self-standing with minimum civil work.
