The Merrow 70-D3B-2 HP for High Pile Fabrics allows the machine to sew a flat butted seam on fabrics up to 2" thick. The HP model was designed specifically to deliver a superior sewn edge on thick fabrics at more than 2000RPM.The Merrow 70-D3B-2 HP industrial sewing machine produces a single-thread butted seam, designed for the end-end seaming of thick woven and non-woven material.The High Pile machine is designed to sew material up to 2" thick, and can be mounted on a standard motor table. Like all 70-Class Merrow machines, the 70-D3B-2 HP is highly versatile, and can be configured with an array of options to meet the sewing requirements of virtually any environment, material, or application.High Pile fabrics require more clearance for the cutting system and a higher looper stroke. The Merrow 70-D3B-2 HP is designed to sew material up to 2" thick, and can be mounted on a standard motor table.

The 70-D3B-2 HP has been tested on paint roller fabrics, air filtration fabrics, insulation and foam products. It will be mounted on a standard table and can be setup with a puller for more sensitive materials.
