Sms Based Banking Security System

This project is aimed to design a security system for banks using wireless technology GSM. In this project we provide efficient way of security for banks. Which is an advanced door lock system used in the fields where security and secrecy is the primary constraint. Security is a prime concern in our day-today life. Everyone wants to be as much secure as possible. An access control for doors forms a vital link in a security chain. The microcontroller based digital lock access control system that allows only authorized persons to access Doors. It is a low cost so that the concept is implemented by using an 8051 series microcontroller A GSM modem provides the communication interface. It transports device protocols transparently over the network through a serial interface. A GSM modem is a wireless modem that works with a GSM wireless network. This GSM Modem can accept any GSM network operator SIM card and act just like a mobile phone with its own unique phone number. Advantage of using this modem will be that you can use its RS232 port to communicate and develop embedded applications. Applications like SMS Control, data transfer, remote control and logging can be developed easily. The modem can either be connected to PC serial port directly or to any microcontroller. This project is designed in such a way that a GSM modem is interfaced to the controller through serial port interface. A DC gear motor will be interfaced to the controller through driver IC L293D for opening and closing of the locker door. The GSM modem performs the task of receiving the message from the mobile and sending the messages to the mobile from the controlling unit. This arrangement will be fixed to the locker door. Whenever an authorized person wants to open the locker door he has to send predefined password message to the control system from his mobile. The GSM modem receives this message and intimates the same to the microcontroller. Now it is the job of the controller to check the received message will match with the predefined message or not, if it matches then DC gear motor is operated to unlatch the solenoid-operated lock so the locker door can be open. At the end of preset delay, the DC gear motor is operated in reverse direction and the door gets locked again. A 16X2 LCD will be interfaced to the controller to display the status of the door. If any unauthorized person want to open the locker door he send wrong password to the control system. When controller finds it is wrong password then buzzer will be on. A buzzer is also interfaced to the controller for an audio identification. This project uses regulated 5V, 500mA power supply. 7805 three terminal voltage regulator is used for voltage regulation. Bridge type full wave rectifier is used to rectify the ac output of secondary of 230/12V step down transformer.

Gsm Based Vehicle Security System

Global Positioning System (GPS) satellites broadcast signals from space that GPS receivers, use to provide three-dimensional location (latitude, longitude, and altitude) plus precise time. GPS receivers provides reliable positioning, navigation, and timing services to worldwide users on a continuous basis in all weather, day and night, anywhere on or near the Earth. This ultra-sensitive GPS receiver can acquire GPS signals from 65 channels of satellites and output position data with high accuracy in extremely challenging environments and under poor signal conditions due to its active antenna and high sensitivity. The GPS receivers -160dBm tracking sensitivity allows continuous position coverage in nearly all application environments. The output is serial data of 9600 baud rate which is standard NMEA 0183 v3.0 protocol offering industry standard data messages and a command set for easy interface to mapping software and embedded devices. The GSM Modem can accept any GSM network operator SIM card and act just like a mobile phone with its own unique phone number. Security switch connected to microcontroller with positive logic. This project fixed inside the vehicle. Press security switch after parking the vehicle. Then microcontroller locks the coordinates (latitude, longitude and altitude) of that particular place. If anybody move the vehicle from that place microcontroller can detect and sends SMS to the user or vehicle owner. After moving vehicle from fixed coordinates microcontroller sends coordinates to user continuously. With the help of this project we can easily find out the vehicle position through coordinates. In this project 7805 is a regulator and it avoids noise spikes in power supply. GPS modem is connected microcontroller through serial port. These GPS modem works under 9600 or 4800 baud rates.

But what if the security is assured irrespective of the person is inside or outside the house. This Project describes a design of effective security alarm system that can monitor the house with different sensors using GSM modem. This GSM Modem can accept any GSM network operator SIM card and act just like a mobile phone with its own unique phone number. Advantage of using this modem will be that you can use its RS232 port to communicate and develop embedded applications. Applications like SMS Control, data transfer, remote control and logging can be developed easily. The modem can either be connected to PC serial port directly or to any microcontroller. Home Security System is a security system using wireless concept that monitors the status of each sensor continuously. Here in this project IR sensor, Fire sensor and smoke sensor are interfaced to the microcontroller along with a GSM modem is interfaced to the microcontroller using serial communication. A buzzer is also interfaced to the microcontroller for an audio identification. The micro controller continuously monitors the status the sensors and if any of the sensors trigger means that if any fire occurs or if any burglar attacks take place, the controlling unit immediately identifies the change in the output of the sensor and sends the predefined message to the user mobile through GSM modem and also alerts the buzzer. Fingerprint Based Security System

According to ancient Greek scripts BIOMETRICS means study of life. Biometrics studies commonly include fingerprint, face, iris, voice, signature, and hand geometry recognition and verification. Many other modalities are in various stages of development and assessment. Among these available biometric traits, Finger Print proves to be one of the best traits providing good mismatch ratio and also reliable. To provide perfect security and to make our work easier, we are taking the help of two different technologies viz. EMBEDDED SYSTEMS and BIOMETRICS. Firstly discussing about Biometrics we are concentrating on Fingerprint scanning. For this, we are using FIM 3030N high voltage module as a scanner. This module has in-built ROM, DSP and RAM. In this, we can store the fingerprints of up to 100 users. This module can operate in 2 modes i.e., Master mode and User mode. We will be using Master mode to register the fingerprints which will be stored in the ROM present on the scanner with a unique id. The project is designed to provide absolute security in industries. The persons who are the employees of the industry have to be registered initially as a sign of authentication. Thus, the fingerprints of the person will be scanned and saved in the database. A password will be given to the user along with the fingerprint. Thus, whenever the employee tries to enter into the organization, he has to scan his image to prove that he is an authorized person to the organization. Thus, the fingerprint module scans the image and sends it to the microcontroller. The microcontroller reads the image, compares the image with the already stored images in the database. If image is equals to database then message will display on 16X2 LCD display. Otherwise unauthorized message will display and buzzer gives beep sound. For authorized entry microcontroller triggers relay. Here we use 8051 as a microcontroller with 5v DC Power supply. Serial (UART) protocol is primary concern here. The heart of this project is Bio metric module which works on serial (UART) protocol. 16X2 LCD display is connected to microcontroller through digital I/O pins.

Initially vehicle owner enroll in the Finger Print module (ROM).If he wants to starts the vehicle scan image and microcontroller detects and compare with database of enrollment area. After checking, it gives output pulse through relay for IC engine ignition. If scan image is not valid it gives buzzer sound and display alerting message. (It is better to enroll at the time of program). Here we use 8051 as a microcontroller with 5v DC Power supply. Serial (UART) protocol is primary concern here.
