Salient Features :
The Drum
The new features include a large diameter drum, blending action between drum and broad central cone with specially shaped mixing blades to ensure a thorough unsegregated mix, wet or day, in theleast possible time, with clean & rapid discharge. The Drum has a guaranteed 10 per cent over load capacity. The Drum top is made from heavy gauge bleck plain sheet which has a beaded rim to increase strength.

Loading Hopper
Built of heavy gauge steel sheet fabricated to give the powerful conical form.

Chasis

Robustly constructed of heavy steel section to withstand continuous hard and rough use and mounted on 4 C.I. wheels and having a draw bar with swivelling arrangement.
Transmission

By steel bushed and roller chains throughout.
Water Tank

8 gallons capacity, revolving type and is supplied as optional.
Housing & Guards
The Prime mover and all the moving and wearing parts are fully covered in a heavy gauge steel sheet housing to gaurd the entry of water and abrasives. The housing has locking arrangement. A separate tool box has also been provided for keeping the service-tools.

Power Source: 3-phase electric motor
The drum rotates in one direction for mixing and in the opposite direction for discharging the concrete. There are two types of blades attached to the inner walls of the drum. One set drags the concrete upwards and towards the center of the mixer when the drum rotates in one direction; the second set of blades pushes the concrete towards the opening when the drum rotates in the other direction. The blades have a spiral arrangement to obtain this desired efect for discharging and mixing.
