All Dielectric Self Supporting Aerial Cable
All Dielectric Self Supporting Aerial Cable is a stranded loose tube manufactured using high modulus plastics. Fibers (250m) and water-resistant filling compounds are filled in the All Dielectric Self Supporting Aerial Cable. FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) acts as a compact and circular cable core in which the non-metallic central strength members such as tubes (and fillers) are stranded. The cable core is then shielded with PE (polyethylene) inner sheath. PE or AT (anti-tracking) outer sheath is provided over the inner sheath of aramid yarns. Features
  • ADSS cable complies with Standard IEEE P 1222 as well as IEC 60794-1
  • Excellent AT performance, The maximum inductive at the operating point of AT sheath can reach 25kV
  • Can be installed without shutting off the power
  • Large span lengths and the largest span is over 1000m Light weight and small diameter reducing the load caused by ice and wind and the load on to and backprops
  • The design life span is 30 years
  • Good performance of tensile strength and temperature.
  • Storage/Operating Temperature : -20oC to + 60oC
