The IBC will be lifted and rotated about its horizontal axis to blend the materials inside. Air Blender

Air Blender
The air blender manufactured by Cybernetik Technologies is a large silo interfaced with a filter unit for venting of air. The feed to the blender is typically achieved by pneumatic conveying or gravity discharge from a big bag. The main blender unit has a central pipe with multiple inlets and runs through the silo. With specialized deflector plates above each inlet, products are drawn into the blending pipe at equal volumes at different levels of the blender. This ensures a consistent blend thats representative of the contents inside the blending silo. The center core pipe serves to disperse the powder at different levels in the blender thus contributing significantly to the mixing process. Air from a twin lobe blower is pumped into the central core pipe which allows for the powder at the bottom to be conveyed to the top.
