Established in 1999, elements is a Kerala based pioneer in mainstreaming the production and marketing of organic produce in India.

It opened India’s first full fledged organic store in Kozhikode in 1999. Its two organic stores continue to be flagship entities in the state for its insistence on traceable farm origins, small farmer focus and adherence to fair trading practices.

Elements is the founder promoter and trading partner of Fair Trade Alliance Kerala, a small farmer collective of 5000 organic farmers engaged in responsible soil stewardship in the Western Ghats region of India.

Elements business focus centres around the promotion of a solidarity economy that engenders sensitive production and responsible consumption.
