Ferro Chrome slag is produced during the smelting of chrome concentrate. The chrome content in the slag is around 6 %. The chrome percentage in slag can be customized as per the buyer's request. We generate 50 ton of slag on a monthly basis.

Significant part of Technical Molybdenum Oxide is also used for direct alloying of steel with Molybdenum in EAF and Converter type furnaces (to achieve Mo content in EAF furnaces up to 3% and up to 1% in Converter-type furnaces). Compared with Ferromolybdenum, Technical Molybdenum oxide preferences are lower cost and quicker dissolution rate.

FMPL engaged in manufacturing of Chrome concentrate. FMPL buys chrome ore of 30% from OMC and then concentrates it to get a Cr2O3 content of more than 58% which is best suitable for ferrochrome manufacturing and also for chromium extraction by carbon reduction or by hydrometallurgy. Chromite is an iron chromium oxide that occurs naturally in the earth's crust. This industrially essential mineral is used to produce metallic chromium, which is further used to produce Stainless and Tool Steel. The high heat stability property of this material makes it an essential refractory material. The chromium can be extracted from chromite. This is majorly utilized in superalloys production, chrome plating, as a pigment for products, like paint and glass, and as an oxidizing agent for tanning leather. Naturally occurring spinel called Chromite Sand encompasses iron and chrome oxides. Chromite Sand can be identified by its dark grey color and granular form. Possessing certain properties, it is used as core and mold making sand in grey iron and steel foundries. It has good chilling properties due to its high thermal conductivity. The dimensional stability can be assured due to low thermal expansion. Chromite Sand finds its major use in steel production as a good filler that protects sliding gates in steel holding ladles. As a fine flour, it is also used in manufacturing green glass beverage containers.

Sodium tungstate is an inorganic compound, colourless or white crystalline powder. It is used as an intermediate product for manufacturing of tungsten metal. Commercially sodium tungstate is marketed in dehydrate or anhydrous form. It has high solubility in water and can be synthesized with high purity.
