General specifications:
The relief valves are normally closed. The valves open as the inlet pressure rises above the calibration value. The valves close automatically when the pressure returns below the calibration value.
The gas governors are conformity with EN 88 standard (2009/142/CE gas regulation). The governors are suitable to systems' installation with automatic gas burners including mixed and combined systems and to in industrial distribution systems.
TECHNICAL FEATURES
Compensation diaphragm, operating diaphragm andsafety diaphragm: an external breather outlet pipe is notnecessary as the incorporated safety diaphragm ensuresthat, in the event of breakage of the operating diaphragm, no gas leakage (over 30 dm3/h) is possible inside theroom (in compliance with par. 3.3.2. EN88specifications).
INSTALLATION
Install the governor with the diaphragm positionedhorizontally (on horizontal pipes). Be careful to followalways the direction of gas flow indicated by the arrow onthe governor.Suitable tools must be used for the governor fitting on theinlet and outlet hubs. Never effect leverage on the sleeveof the upper cover when fitting the governor.For all models with the filter inside, the governor is bestfitted at a comfortable height from the ground so as tofacilitate the filter cleaning (fit always a suitable gas filterupstream the governor).Make sure that the pipes are clean and aligned so thegovernor is not under stress.Do not remove the perforated diaphragm breather cap (3)and do not obstruct the hole, otherwise the governor willnot work. Install the governor so avoiding contact withplastered walls.Make sure that the governor is suitable to the intended use.
