Carbon Black

Carbon black is virtually pure elemental carbon in the form of colloidal particles that are produced  by incomplete combustion or thermal decomposition of gaseous or liquid hydrocarbons under controlled conditions. Carbon black is chemically and physically distinct from soot and black carbon. Its physical appearance is that of a black, finely divided pellet or powder. Its use in tires, rubber and plastic products, printing inks and coatings is related to properties of specific surface area, particle size and structure, conductivity and colour.

Adding carbon black to products affects materials in a few ways. When used in tires and other rubber products, it’s primarily a filler, taking the place of more costly binder materials. As a filler in tires, carbon black also helps extend the life of the tire by conducting heat away from the tread and belt area. It also acts as a pigment, making rubber materials black. Pigmentation is carbon black’s primary function in plastics, paints, ink, laser printer toner and some radar absorbent materials. Its high tinting strength and inherent stability make it an especially good pigment, and it’s also used to colour resins and films. When added to polypropylene, carbon black also helps preserve the material from ultraviolet damage since it absorbs UV rays. Carbon black is also a good electro-conductor, so it’s used in certain electronics applications as well.

Titanium Dioxide

Titanium Dioxide, also called Titania, (TiO2), a white, opaque, naturally occurring mineral existing in several crystalline forms, the most important of which are Anatase and Rutile.

Anatase grade titanium dioxide is a kind of good white powder pigment with good light scattering resistance and stable chemical properties. It performs excellent in light resistance, heat resistance, acid, and alkali resistance. It has strong covering power and dispersion, but the performance of weather resistance is not as good as rutile type. It’s widely used in many industrial fields like coating, plastic, papermaking, and printing ink.

Rutile grade titanium dioxide is good white pigment with high dispersion, high weather resistance, high covering power and good stability. It is widely used in interior and exterior wall latex paints, industrial coating, printing ink, laminated paper, plastic colour master batch and powder coating. Rutile type is the most stable crystal habit of titanium dioxide. Comparing to anatase titanium dioxide, it has higher hardness, density, dielectric constant, and refractive index.

Moreover, we are supplying indigenous and imported materials.

Dolomite

Dolomite is a mineral which is known as Calcium Magnesium Carbonate and a chemical formula is CaMg(CO3)2. Dolomite is a very common mineral and it is saddle-shaped curved crystal aggregates.

High level of whiteness and purity are the main reasons behind the popularity of Dolomite Powder. Natural Dolomite Powder is of White Colour and is used as Filler in many applications such as Soap & Detergent, Paints, Ceramics and many other Industries. Chemically & structurally it is similar to calcite with half the calcium ions replaced by magnesium. Moreover, Dolomite is harder and denser than the calcite form of calcium carbonate or limestone, and is more chemically inert and more impervious to acid attack.

We supply with a broad range of particle size ranging from coarser to finer to ultra-fine sizes depending on nature of applications and customer requirements.

Key Feature of Our Dolomite

  • High Purity
  • Free from impurities
  • Excellent Whiteness

China Clay

China Clay is a mineral and composed of Aluminum Silicate with a chemical composition of Al2O3.2SIO2.2H2O. Structurally China Clay is a Platy mineral. It is primarily made up of the mineral Kaolinite so it is known as Kaolin Clay.

When Kaolin has the bound water molecule, generally termed as Hydrous Kaolin. For specific purpose to lose the water molecule, Hydrous cay is undergoing high temperature process which is known as Calcination process and the final product termed as Calcined Kaolin.

Both clays are important in different types of applications. Generally Hydrous Kaolin used as filler in Paints, Ink, Rubber and Agrochemicals due to its fine particle size, softness and high elasticity properties. While Calcined Kaolin used as an important filler in Paints, Ink, Cosmetics, Plastics, Paper, Wire & Cable due to its High Purity & Opacity, Whiteness & Brightness.

Calcined Kaolin is partial substitute (up to 20%) for Titanium Dioxide in water based and solvent based semi-gloss Paints for improved optical properties.

We have wide range of China Clay/Kaolin such as Natural, Hydrous and Calcined.
