Cinnamon was known from ancient times both as a spice and also for its medicinal properties. It was known to be used for curing tooth decay. Today it is cultivated in Madgascar, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Malaya, Indonesia, Brazil and India. Oil is extracted from both the buds & leaves and Madgascar & Indonesia are the major producers of Clove Oil.

We source our cloves from the west coast of Southern India. We utilize a method called Super-critical-fluid-extraction in which we use CO₂ gas as the agent to create the purest extract.
