RUST-X TUFFPAULIN VCI filmprovides better corrosion protection compared to using ordinaryVCIFilm and provides a single product with multiple features such as abrasion protection, movement restriction, water barrier as well as moisture barrier hence providing excellent option for long term preservation.
TheTUFFPAULIN VCI filmemits protective vapors, which have the tendency to neutralize the moisture as well as form a multi-molecular film on the surface of the metal and inhibit the electrolytic process of oxidation.
The film is available as tube, sheet or in the form of 3-D covers to wrap the equipment suiting the size of the equipment or the pallet. The film is very tough and cannot be stretched or punctured easily.
The film is transparent for ease of visibility of the part or equipment packed in it.
METHOD OF USETuffpaulin VCI Filmis available in form of 2 dimensional bags, 3 Dimensional Bags and covers or in the form of sheet.
The product to be packed can be wrapped withRUST-X TUFFPAULIN VCI filmand then heat-sealed using a continuous tong type heat sealer. This results in the formation of an enclosed atmosphere with highly inert atmosphere which resists rusting.
