Dropping point determinations are used for identification and quality control purposes, and can be an indication of the highest temperature of utility for some applications. The sample is heated at a prescribed rate in a precision machined cup whose sides slope toward an opening at its center. RASAYAN drop point complies The ASTM D2265 dropping point test method which permits higher temperatures than the ASTM D566 method and uses a different heating procedure: the test cell is inserted in an aluminum block oven maintained at a constant temperature that is higher than the expected dropping point of the sample. The sample temperature then rises to the dropping point without operator control.

SCOPE :The RASAYAN dry bath is an ideal instrument for Enzyme Reactions, Inactivation of Sera, Incubation, and Other Laboratory Procedures. RASAYAN make dry bath is useful for various applications in the fields of medical and industrial researches for heating, drying, sterilizing and baking in laboratories, hospitals and industries.
CONSTRUCTION :The outer chamber of the dry bath is made out of heavy gauge mild steel sheet duly aesthetic colored powder coated after passing seven tank acids wash procedure. Block made out of heavy quality aluminum with suitable sized hole for inserting glass vials with sample. A gap is filled with good quality of insulated material in between aluminum block and outer chamber has been kept to prevent loss of temperature due to environmental condition. Heating element of 1000 watt (wattage may vary depending upon the size/volume of the ovens) has been fitted at bottom of the aluminum block to heat the sample uniformly. Microprocessor based PID temperature controller with inbuilt timer for accurate temperature controlling with PT-100 sensor. Solid state relay (optional) for over current protection. Alarm for sensor break & end of the cycle indicating.

It also has a slot for vapor tube and a glass window is provided in front side for clear view of inside objects. In addition to this, our product also have cooling bath or condenser with M.S. black painted stand. Moreover, our range is supplied with three square asbestos boards with 38 mm, 50mm and 70mm holes. MODE OF HEATING :-
RASAYAN cloud & pour is made according to specification laid by IP by 15 & ASTM D 97. The Pour Point is lowest temperature at which the oil will just fail to flow. The apparatus consists main cooling bath made out of S.S. Sheet and stand Unit with drain Plug and cover has provision for fitting thermometer and a filling adventure for adding freezing mixture. A Glass Jar for containing Oils, Jackets, Disc and gasket as specified are also provided. Bench-model and floor-model test units with multiple four-jacket mechanically refrigerated baths, each factory preset at a different temperature for convenient cloud and pour point testing. Bench model has three baths, set at +30, 0, and –30°C floor model has four baths, set at +30, 0, –30 and –60°C. Each bath has a S.S made top plate with ports for thermometer and four copper test jackets. Synthetic sponge covers over each top plate and gasket hoods over each bath prevent excessive ice accumulation around the test jackets. Cascade hermetic refrigeration system provides reliable long term service. Bath interior and cabinet is constructed entirely of stainless steel. Cloud & Pour Point Appratus, Floor model rides on swivel castors. Supplied with test jackets, gaskets, disks, and thermometer holders for test jars and cooling baths.
