The standard soil moisture recorders consists of a soil moisture sensors, temperature sensor(optional), data logger, solar panels with rechargeable SMF batteries, modem, tripod sand and weatherproof enclosure. Measurements are automatically stored in system memory as per user selectable logging period. It comes with integral solar panel which keeps the batteries charged. The batteries are SMF free. The data file is saved in Microsoft excel.
