A separating funnel is funnel that is used to separate immiscible liquids. Liquids that do not mix with each other are said to be immiscible. Two immiscible liquids, such as oil and water, can be separated by using a separating funnel.

These properties include: Extreme Hardness, extremely high chemical purity, high softening temperature (1670C), optical transparency over a wide range, Resistance to High Temperature, low thermal expansion, excellent thermal shock, High Operating Temperature: 1050OC Continuous, 1350OC Intermittentand high resistance to a large number of elements and compounds, Resistant to Sulphuric Acid, Nitric Acid and Hydro Chloric Acid.
