While everyone is aware of the appearance, taste, color, and shape of an Alphonso mangoes, a totapuri mango, safeda, neelam, dussehri, chaunsa, and langra mango, the Banganapalli mango is something that one should try from the South. Also known as Benishan mangoes, one of the main distinguishing factors of these mangoes is that they have blemish-free skin. Banganapalli mangoes are originally cultivated in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. These mangoes are visibly different from all other mangoes as the Banganapalli mangoes have an oblique and oval shape. The skin of this mango is bright yellow and so thin that one can eat it along with the pulp.
