Indigo Paints Knifing Paste Filler is an alkyd based putty ideal for levelling metal &wooden surfaces.

Surface Preparation & Application:

The Surface to be puttied should be cleaned free of rust, dirt, loose material, grease, wax etc. An appropriate Indigo Wood / Metal primer should first be applied.For Metal Surface , Indigo Knifing Paste Filler Grey should be applied using a putty knife on primed surfaces to even out the dents on the sheet metal and blowholes on casting before the finish paint is applied.For Wooden Surface, Indigo Knifing Paste Filler White should be applied using a putty knife on a primed surface to even out and fill up the grain in wood before the finish paint is applied. If the filling required is thick, for both wood & metal, this should be done in two or more thin layers and not in one thick layer. the puttied surface should be smoothened with abrasive paper grit no.320 before application of finish coat. If thinning of Knifing Paste Filler is required, use only general purpose thinner.
