Indigo Sleek HS Melamine system comprising of Sealer & Topcoat is a quick drying two pack system designed for the protection and beautification of interior furniture & joinery.
Surface Preparation & Application:
Sand the wooden substrate along the grains, sequentially, with abrasive paper from grit numbers 80 to 180. The dust, dirt that comes out during the sanding process should be totally removed. Apply 2-3 coats of Sleek HS Melamine Sealer depending on the filling required. Drying time between coats 3-4 hours & inter-coat sanding using abrasive paper grit number 320.Apply 2 coats of Sleek HS Melamine Topcoat by brush / spray with 4-6 hours drying time between coats. Inter-coat sanding using abrasive paper grit number 400.
Sleek NC Sanding Sealer is a high viscosity quick drying clear cellulose sealer for interiors which helps fill grains inherent to wood. It can be top-coated using single pack PU & melamine systems.

The dust, dirt that comes out during the sanding process should be totally removed.Apply 2-3 coats of Sleek NC Sanding Sealer or enough coats till the pores in the wood are filled satisfactorily. Allow 2 hours drying time between coats and sand down using abrasive paper grit no.220. Wipe clean. Overcoat using appropriate topcoat.
