Dunnage bags, also known as airbags are convenient, fast and cost effective alternative to secure and stabilize cargo in ISO sea containers, closed rail cars, trucks and on-going vessels. They are placed in the void between the cargo items. The use of dunnage bag can have a positive impact on road safety. According to European Commission Transportation Department “It has been estimated that up to 25% accidents involving trucks can be attributable to inadequate cargo securing”

 

Dunnage bags are very easy to work with. They inflate rapidly with the use of an inflator using compressed air. Dunnage bags are very safe to use for both the shipping and receiving end of the transportation. They are waterproof. The cushions are easy to install and are inflated by compressed air often by means of an outlet in the truck’s compressed air system or compressors.

PAPER DUNNAGE BAG:The paper used on the outside of the bag is laminated on the inside with a woven polypropylene layer,   which allows higher resistance to punctures and moisture. These inflatable dunnage air bags are designed for securing cargo in  trucks & containers.

 

WOVEN POLYPROPYLENE DUNNAGE BAG:

Woven polypropylene bags are made from inside LDPE liner and woven polypropylene outside. These inflatable dunnage air bags can be used in trucks, containers, railcars & ships.

 

POLYPROPYLENE LAMINATED DUNNAGE BAG:

PP Laminated bags are made from inside LDPE liner and woven polypropylene coated with polyethylene outside.
