Principle of Operation : -
The Shower pump (Automatic home pressure boosting system) is fitted in series to the water pipeline between the overhead tank and the first tap or shower. The system basically consists of a booster pump and an automatic switch. The pump adds high pressure to the water flowing through outlets like taps, shower heads, jet massage units, closets, etc. Suitable pump may be selected depending on the requirement. The automatic switch switches ON the pump when the tap is opened and switches OFF the pump when the tap is closed. Thus, whenever the water flow in the pipeline starts, the Shower pump gets into action and maintains a high pressure. When no tap or shower is in use, the pump is switched OFF and it remains in the stand - by mode.
