Millipure water systems make Multi column distillation plant produces WFI on the basic principle of Distillation by Thin Film Evaporation. This process involves a shell and tube heat exchangers (column) where heat transfer is done by falling film evaporation.

 

 

 

Impurities, along with the pyrogenic load, are continuously purged from every column. At start-up during pre-heating and self-sanitization the residual accumulated water will also drain off before WFI is produced.

  • The equipment is designed to meet the stringents standards set by major pharmacopoeias such as USP, IP, BP and JP
  • The plant is designed and manufactured as per cGMP and in accordance to ASME BPE requirement.

  • All inter connecting piping is done by orbital welding with high purity argon gas and welding joints can be inspected with Boroscopy machine.
  • PLC and SCADA based system with online printing facility to achieve compliance with 21 CFR PART 11 and GAMP 5 so less human interferance and low maintenance required
