UGF 2000

The UGF 2000 aerosol generator is able to atomize liquids with a binary nozzle. The UGF 2000 comprises an adjustable binary nozzle for adjustment of the desired mass flow and a cyclone. Unlike the AGF series, UGF 2000 has a cyclone with built-in control air. The control air is adjusted using a micrometer screw on a needle valve. By opening this valve, the aerosol concentration is able to be reduced by a factor of approx. 500 through the addition of control air. As a result, the generator is ideally suited for testing laminar flow boxes and clean rooms with low volume flow. Startup: The compressed air is supplied to a binary nozzle via a pneumatic onoff switch and an adjustable pressure regulator. The mist of droplets generated by the nozzle flows tangentially into a cyclone. Large particles are separated here by centrifugal force and drip into a separate reservoir. The remaining droplets leave the cyclone via the so-called "immersion tube". The size spectrum of these droplets is determined on the one hand by the primary droplet spectrum generated by the nozzle, but especially by the separation characteristics of the cyclone on the other hand.

RAS 3000

The RAS system comprises an aerosol generator, a liquid heating unit, a thermocouple to measure the temperature, and an aerosol distributor with six outlets. Six outlet cylinders are connected to these outlets on the aerosol distributor by means of hose connections. The liquid to be nebulized, e.g. DEHS, is able to be heated. The highly accurate aerosol concentration is obtained by means of a special aerosol generator and one mass flow controller each for the generator and for the mixed air. The RAS 3000 enables a defined aerosol to be generated with the required reference source flow (QRef ) at six different points simultaneously within the operating room for protection degree determination (SG) as per SWKI 99-3 and DIN 1946-4. The RAS 3000 features the option to rapidly and reproducibly adjust the reference source flow (QRef). Why is protection degree determination necessary? An operating room is a special place intended to protect the patient and personnel against contamination. Different ventilation systems can be used to keep the air clean. The efficacy of these ventilation systems must be reproducibly verifiable within the operating room.

AGF 2 Aerosol Generator

The AGF 2.0 is an aerosol generator for the atomization of liquids and latex suspensions with a constant particle rate and defined particle spectrum. The AGF 2.0 system comprises an adjustable binary nozzle for adjustment of the desired mass flow and a cyclone with a cut-off of 2 m. As a result, virtually no particles > 2 m are generated. Startup: The liquid to be dispersed is filled in the reservoir and the AGF 2.0 is connected to the compressed air connection. A manometer enables the mass flow of the liquid to be continuously adjusted using the primary pressure on the nozzle. The mist of droplets generated by the nozzle flows tangentially into a cyclone. Large particles are separated here by centrifugal force and drip back into the reservoir. The remaining droplets leave the cyclone via the so-called "immersion tube". The size spectrum of these droplets is determined on the one hand by the primary droplet spectrum generated by the nozzle, but especially by the separation characteristics of the cyclone on the other hand. The separation size is able to be calculated: daerodyn.max = 2 m, i.e. regardless of the liquid to be atomized, the max. particle size is daerodyn 2 m.

RBG 2000 Aerosol Generator

The difference between RBG 2000 and RBG 1000 make the feed stock reservoirs of RBG 2000, which are longer than the feed stock reservoirs of RBG 1000, and the availability of a reservoir with a bigger diameter. The fill level of the feed stock reservoir of RBG 2000 is 180 mm. Thus, the special advantage of RBG 2000 in comparison to RBG 1000 is that the dosing time with the same mass flow can be extended by more than a factor of 3. Mass flows of between approx. 200 mgh and 560 gh are dispersed with optimal dosing constancy due to the quick and easy replacement of the feed stock reservoir.

GFG Digital 3000 Aerosol Generators

In order to be worthy of the name, aerosol generators used to generate test or calibration aerosols must remain constant with respect to particle size distribution, concentration constancy, and the reproducible adjustment of these parameters throughout the testing period. The GFG digital 1000 and GFG digital 3000 spark generators are able to generate test aerosols similar to diesel soot from pure graphite with an adjustable particle size distribution of approx. 20 150 nm and low mass flows of up to approx. 6 mgh with high reproducibility. Due to the new digital regulation the generator offers an enhanced setting range as well as an even higher constancy of the created particle size and concentration. The mass flow controllers incorporated into the GFG digital 3000 enable a more precise adjustment of the volume flows for argon and dilution air than the GFG digital 1000. Additional materials for particle generation include copper (Cu), gold (Au), silver (Ag) or other electrical conductive materials.
