Available in on-board and through-board designs, these sockets meet a variety of design requirements including low-profile (space-constrained), single-side PCB, compact footprint and others.

Molex offers an array of parallel data sockets (non-SMIA compliant) in bottom- or side-contact, on-board or through-board configurations to complement serial data (SMIA-compliant) solutions. These sockets feature a characteristically higher pin count than serial versions and are available in a variety of X-Y (camera module) dimensions, housing and shell features, and PCB mounting styles.

The JEDEC standard 0.60mm pitch sockets are used in small form factor PCs and small form factor servers, including 1U and blade servers as well as high reliability routers for networking.
