Furnaces generally have coils constructed from heavy copper tubing. Furance Transformers are special & sophisticated Transformers designed and tuned to the inverter circuit which applies a medium frequency (generally 500 Hz or 1000 Hz) voltage to the Induction coil. The charge ( Load) is heated by eddy currents induced by magnetic fields of the induction coils. Since the quality, volume and content of the charge is not always uniform the design has to be that much more robust and flexible. Medium frequency is necessary to enhance the rate of heat generation. The inverter circuit requires a D.C. Voltage for its operation, which is obtained by converting available three phase A.C.Voltage. our units have been serving customers well in STEEL PLANTS all over the world. For such specific and peculiar application, special transformers are designed and supplied. These are essentially Rectifier / Converter Duty Transformers. We supply transformers for different types of furnaces such as Arc Furnaces, Ladle Furnace, Induction Furnace etc.

New India Electicals offers a full range of dry-type transformers built to minimize environmental contamination and fire hazards. Dry-type transformers are in frequent demand among our customers. These transformers meet strict parameters with respect to electrical system demands and functioning in areas with extreme climatic conditions. Our dry and cast transformers are virtually maintenance free and are manufactured in accordance with international standards. These Transformers are manufactured in vacuum impregnation or in vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) technology. The application of these Transformers is unique and specific, these are installed in Commercial buildings, On Board Vessles, Malls, Large Housing Complexes and now even in Compact Substations consultants & clients prefer Cast Resin Transformers as they offer a lot of safety, compactness and a clean environment. Typically, Transformers with higher power rating are protected in enclosures and sometimes equipped with air-forced cooling too for better heat dissipation.
