Suitable for :

  • Concrete
  • Dense Natural Stone
How to Install :
1)Drill a hole in the base material using a carbide drill bit of same diameter as the nominal diameter of the anchor to be installed. To ensure proper and secure fit, the hole drilled in the concrete should be the same diameter as the thread on the concrete wedge anchor.
2)Drill the hole to the specified embedment depth and blow it clean using compressed air blower or a brush. Overhead installations need not be blown clean. Alternatively, drill the hole deep enough to accommodate embedment depth and dust from drilling.
3)Assemble the anchor with nut and washer so that the top of the nut is flush with the top of the anchor. Place the Welfast Wedge Anchor in the fixture and drive into the hole using a hammer until washer and nut are tight against the fixture. The anchor must be driven until at least six threads are below the surface of the fixture.
4)Tighten the nut to the recommended installation torque.
5)Using a proper sized hammer, set pin with several accurate strikes on the head of the pin until the pin is flush with the top of the anchor. The concrete anchor is now properly set eliminating the need to torque the nut to set the anchor.

1)Nylon plug body for longer life and durability.
2)Simple Hammer setting with a hammer no screw driver required.
3)Nail can be removed or loosened any time (cross-head in nail head).
4)Through-fixing, eliminating the need for marking and repositioning.
5)Optimum performance in terms of electric insulation, tensile strength and high pressure.
6)Anti rotation barbs prevent the anchor from rotating in the hole.
7)Nylon Sleeve reduces cold bridging compared with metal fixings and also assists in shear capacity.
8)Countersunk sleeve and screw allow a flush finish.
9)Largely resistant to chemical attack.
10)Withstands temperatures from -20oC to +60oC.

Features 1)High Performance. 2)Quick and Easy Installation. 3)Highly preferred in wet conditions and also used underwater.

Features
1)High Performance.
2)Quick and Easy Installation.
3)Highly preferred in wet conditions and also used underwater.
4)No load stress imparted to the base material as with expansion type anchors, hence ideally suited for high load applications.
5)No effects of pollutants as with mechanical anchors except the increase of curing time.
6)No mixing, no mess and no waste

Applications
1)Light Duty Applications: These include many fixings for residential use (i.e. bathroom fixings, window shutters, satellite dishes, air conditioners, outside lights, hanging cabinets, etc.)
2)Vibration/External Force Applications: Chemical Anchor is ideal in settings where external effects must be considered. Vibrations due to wind or machine operation can be overcome through the use of Chemical Anchor, which will securely retain the fixing element.
3)Heavy Duty Applications: Heavy duty fixings can include varied weight loads where life and dead loads must be considered. This includes applications such as I-beams, balconies and railings.
4)Problematic Fixings: In certain situations, Chemical Anchor is the only solution for fixing a load. Problematic applications include wet and underwater fixings where corrosion and aggressive environmental effects must be considered. Environments containing aggressive chemicals or which are regularly exposed to salt water are also ideal application areas for Chemical Anchor. It creates a total form closure that protects the anchor rod from corrosion. Cracked concrete is another problematic application. Also useful in situations involving fixing a load with close axial or edge distance. Chemical Anchor will hold heavy loads that must be fixed close to the edge without creating any internal pressure.
4)Post-Installed Rebar: Post-installed rebar is an application that can only be completed using Chemical Anchor.
