This company is the flagship company of the organization and has been in the business of Iron Ore Mining since 1985. The company has an asset base of approximately USD 70 million for the year ending March 2015. The owned iron ore mines are located in the mineral rich state of Odisha, India. The location of the mines gives the company operational advantage as a number of Integrated Steel Manufacturing facilities are located within the state who are direct buyers of the Iron Ore produced. Estimated reserves of the block have been assessed at 60 Million Tons of high grade iron ore. In 2014 as management of this company we decided that the time was right to expand overseas by opening an office in the trading capital of the world – UAE. Hence Power International DMCC was formed in UAE, of which Penguin Trading is a 100% shareholder.
