Semi Refined Paraffin Wax is a white, odorless, tasteless soft solid derivable from petroleum, coal or oil shale, It has melting point between 55 °C to 60 °C & oil content ranging between 2% to 5%. It is available in form of blocks. It insoluble in water however soluble in ether, benzene, and certain esters.
Fully Refined Paraffin Wax is a white, odorless, tasteless soft solid derivable from petroleum, coal or oil shale, it has melting point between 58 °C to 62 °C and contain less than 0.5% oil and have been hydrotreated or clay treated to remove impurities and colour. The resulting waxes are water clear, odour free, and normally food grade. It is available in form of blocks, flakes & solid granules.
