Umatech Micron has developed two types of Classifier : Whizzer type Classifier and Dynamic type Classifier.
Umatech Micron Whizzer type Air Classification is an airstream classifier where the feed material is pneumatically or with screw fed to the unit and is used in the medium to fine range of classifications, 20 - 150 microns, with high separation ration.

Umatech Micron Dynamic Air Classification is an airstream classifier where the feed material is pneumatically fed to the unit and is used in the medium to fine range of classifications, 2 -20 microns, with high separation ration. The Umatech Dynamic Air Classifier is frequently operated in closed circuit with ball and table roller mills.

Typical application is in the minerals field for;

Limestone, quicklime, fertilising lime, bentonite, dolomite, gypsum, quartz and feldspar, silica, ceramics and other chemicals also. Abrasive materials can be processed by wear protecting the internals. The relatively slow speed also helps this.
